In line with its commitment to corporate citizenship, Bond It is supporting a fundraising event taking place close to its head office and main manufacturing site in West Yorkshire.


The business - which is one of the UK’s largest, independent manufacturers of sealants, adhesives and building chemicals - is sponsoring the Elland Festival of Speed, which takes place in the town from 11am to 4pm on Saturday, October 1st.


Independent UK manufacturer of sealants, adhesives and building chemicals, Bond It is sponsoring the 2022 Elland Festival of Speed.

First held in 2019, the Elland Festival of Speed is a celebration of all things automotive.


Over two hundred and fifty vehicles are expected to take part in 2022, including classic cars, supercars, modern and vintage motorcycles, trucks, agricultural vehicles, and everything in between.


There will also be food and drink stalls, live music and prizes for the best vehicles on show.


Entry to the Elland Festival of Speed is by voluntary donation and the proceeds raised will be shared amongst local charities.


As well as acting as one of the event’s sponsors, Bond It will also be represented on the day by Halifax-based MPH Racing.


The business is the main sponsor of this TCR UK Touring Car Championship team and its driver, Brad Hutchison, who compete in a Bond It liveried Audi RS3 LMS.

Bond It’s backing of the Elland Festival of Speed complements its support of numerous other local charities and community initiatives.


The company is a long-term patron of Overgate Hospice, which provides specialist palliative care to adults suffering from progressive, life-limiting illnesses, as well as a sponsor of Elland Junior Football Club U12's team, Huddersfield Laund Hill RUFC, and the Huddersfield Giants Rugby Super League team.


Speaking of Bond It’s involvement in the Elland Festival of Speed, Kirstie Cooper, the manufacturer’s marketing manager, said: “Bond It pays more than lip service to the idea of corporate citizenship.


“Our ongoing CSR-focused activities reflect this and the fact that we consider purpose as well as profit. As a company, we feel it is important to make a positive contribution to the communities surrounding our business and that are home to many members of our team.”
